The traditional structure of our general education systems relies on students and teachers meeting in a classroom. The quality of any one person’s education most often depends on luck. Luck relative to where they are born; luck to have parents who can afford the cost; luck that there are good compatible teachers; luck that there is access to the classrooms where the teachers are working; luck that there are no biases or restrictions relative to the students ethnic ancestry, colour, sex, or religion.

There is often access to elementary levels of education most everywhere. But as the levels get higher, scarcity and cost become significant factors in developing regions. This scarcity is often due to regional administrations limited funding (ministries and boards) or institutional limits set by size and geography (universities). Not to mention the physical limits of time and energy that a teacher can put into the students in the immediate classroom / school.

Teachers are the intellect that inspires learning in students. It is the teachers who develop the courses, it is the teachers who tell the stories, it is the teachers who design the challenges to inspire the students.
The transformative purpose of this educational platform is to be the open conduit / platform for teachers and students to connect from anywhere in the world. And to allow students to choose their path through education. Either a traditional linear path to and through university, or they can choose an organic path that feeds their passion and talents.
